This program is perfect for Teachers and other Educators looking to deepen their tool boxes and horizons. The course explores the role of adventure and outdoor activities as powerful catalysts for development, learning engagement and the building of important, personal Life Assets. We explore: Ice Breaker games “Setting the Hook”, Group Dynamics, Risk Management; Facilitation and Presentation skills and how to properly design and sequence these activities to best set our students up for success.

Experiential Facilitation 2

This exciting program takes all of the foundational knowledge and skills presented in Level 1 and applies them to a whole new range of exciting activities and experiences. A greater focus will be placed on the use of “working metaphors”, the processing of experiences, capturing “Teachable Moments”, facilitation styles and learning how to build your own “back-pocket” of portable activities. Processing and Reviewing skills will be developed throughout and like the Level 1 program participants will have the great opportunity both to fully partake of the “student experience” and be shown “behind the scenes” to better understand how the activities are engineered, managed and facilitated.
